Group Getaway on a Private Peninsula

Formerly Mallard Point Resort, this little peninsula on Prairie Lake has been a Northwoods getaway for the 75 years. We're keeping the tradition alive by welcoming you to make this your very own group retreat. The property includes three cabins each with their own kitchen and dining spaces. The main cabin has a large deck with a dining and lounge space. The cabins are outfitted with modern comforts like WiFi and quality mattresses, but we're still cherishing our vintage resort roots. Prairie Lake is relatively quiet and has little boat traffic, perfect for paddling and fishing. Visit the rocky gorge, reminiscent of the Boundary Waters, at the south end of the lake, take in sunrises on the dock, and enjoy listening to the loons sing. The water is shallow and gradual along our little sand beach, perfect for small children to splash and build sand castles.
