Excellent base for exploring the Alsace region...

We had a wonderful week staying at this property. As well as being very good value, it had everything that you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. Joël, the property owner and host, was superb - lots of reassuring communication in advance and extremely personable and helpful. A genuinely lovely man who was keen to make sure that we had a great trip and had everything that we needed. Thank you.

Ruhig und Idyllisch

Haus ist insgesamt gut eingerichtet und ausreichend gross für Familie mit 2 Kindern. Es gab kein deutsches Fernsehen und die Frau bemängelt den fehlenden "Rückspiegel" im Bad um den Hinterkopf gut föhnen zu können, sonst alles bestens.

Accueil chaleureux de la part du propriétaire des lieux, il avait bien retenu que nous cherchions essentiellement le contact avec la nature en vélo où en randonnée et nous a fourni une documentation adaptée que nous avons complétée. Pas le temps de nous ennuyer durant les 15 jours de notre séjour. Situation calme la nuit.Le gite est spacieux une pièce à vivre au RDC (cuisine, grande table, salon) belle chambre à l'étage, salle de bain confortable.

schöne Tage im Elsass

Wir haben zwei recht erholsame Wochen im Haus von Herrn Kopp verbracht. Herr Kopp hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlen konnten, auch die Gegend ist wunderschön, wir konnten Wanderungen direkt von der Unterkunft aus machen. Schade war, dass eine von Motorradfahrern beliebte Umgehungsstraße in der Nähe gerade am Wochenende zu einiger Lärmbelästigung führte. Dennoch: Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Grandfontaine sehr genossen!

Maison agréable mais problèmes avec le propriétaire

La maison correspondait tout à fait à l’annonce et est très bien située pour rayonner en Alsace et dans les Vosges. Et tout à fait agréable pour 4. Par contre, le séjour s’est mal passé du fait de : - tout d’abord nous apprenons qu’il faut payer les pellets du poêle en supplément car l’annonce est celle de l’été… ce que nous acceptons - puis c’est les draps et serviettes qui sont en supplément, et nous l’apprenons à notre arrivée alors que nous avions eu un échange par email sur le sujet sans nous prévenir… - le propriétaire nous dit aussi a l’arrivée que le chauffage électrique (un dans chaque chambre) n’est pas compris dans le tarif… je précise que nous avons un enfant de 2 ans 1/2 - le poêle traditionnel en face du canapé n’est pas aux normes et nous n’avons pas le droit de nous en servir… - le poêle électrique - seul source de chauffage donc, pour fin décembre - est tombé en panne 2 fois en 5 jours - nous avons hébergé une amie une nuit dans une maison louée pour 4 (nous étions donc à ce moment là 3 adultes et 1 enfant), et le propriétaire a voulu nous faire payer un supplément - enfin, alors que nous rendions la maison tout à fait propre le matin du départ, il nous a été reproché de ne pas avoir passé la serpillère partout. Pour être parfaitement honnête je précise que nous avons été accueillis avec une bouteille de vin et des chocolats pour notre fils, mais cela ne suffit pas à « faire passer » ces tentatives de nous faire payer le double du prix de la location pour diverses raisons !

Ideales Haus für Familien

Das Haus ist klein, aber ideal für eine vierköpfige Familie und perfekt ausgestattet. Der Bereich von Küche und Wohn- und Esszimmer ist sehr gemütlich und ermöglicht auch bei schlechtem Wetter einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Bei gutem Wetter ist der große Garten ein echter Gewinn!

Bonnes vacances en principauté de Salm

Nous avons passés un bien agréable séjour dans ce gîte sympathique. Le jardin est très bien orienté, nous pouvions suivre la course du soleil (quand il y en a) d'est en ouest tout le long de la journée. Notre hôte nous a reçus avec une grande attention et nous a fourni moult renseignements sur la région avec les sites à visiter et les activités que nous pouvions faire. A recommander pour des vacances sereines, pour le repos, la contemplation de la nature et pour se ressourcer.

Top vakantie in de Elzas

Goede prijs voor een complete woning. Rustig plaatsje, vriendelijke bevolking. Alleen jammer dat er nauwelijks tot niet met Engels of Duits gecommuniceerd kan worden. Zelfs de jeugd kan op een enkele uitzondering na alleen maar Frans. Supermarkt met de auto makkelijk te bereiken. Veel mogelijkheden voor uitstapjes in de Elzas. Auto wel noodzakelijk. Alles bij elkaar super vakantie gehad. Huiseigenaar is erg vriendelijk en kan Engels. Veel tips gekregen en erg behulpzaam als je vragen hebt (via WhatsApp).

Erholung pur für Wanderfreunde

Nettes historisches Haus mit allem, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Schön gelegen in einem kleinen Dorf mitten in den Vogesen. Man kann direkt vom Haus loswandern oder eine der vielen interessanten Routen in den Nähe nutzen. Joel ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Echte hete zomervakantie en dat in de Vogezen.

Wij waren precies op vakantie de laatste 2 weken juni 2019 zodat we fantastisch warm weer hebben gehad. Eigenlijk te warm om wat te gaan doen. De heerlijke grote voortuin(100 x 30 meter) heeft voldoende schaduwplekken. Het huis bleef bij deze hoge temperaturen heerlijk koel. Inrichting is simpel maar voldoende. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijke mensen die voor ons goed en duidelijk Frans spreken maar ook in het Duits en Engels goed uit de voeten kunnen. De omgeving is bij uitstek geschikt voor wandel fanaten. Al met al een voor ons geslaagde vakantie.
