First thing I want to say is the front desk ladies were wonderful.Chelsea was amazing and followed up with us a couple times. Upon check in we found out the hot tub was out for the entire long weekend which was disappointing bc my daughter loves it.Things happen but I wish we knew at the time of booking.We now checked into the room.It was dirty. I called the front desk and because it was after 3pm no cleaners were available till the following morning. I took pictures and shared with the front. There were cookie crumbs, and pieces, all over the bed and floor. The microwave had red splaches in it.The fridge had black, melted substance all over the inside. There is NO WAY you could not see it if you opened the fridge. The sinks and shower had hair in them. The stove element had food on it. It was filthy. It was an uncomfortable sleep. The next day they cleaned the entire room and the head of housekeeping looked at it ahead of time and after. We also rented a room facing the river with a deck to enjoy the evenings.Unfortunately, I took pictures and shared also, there was a wasp nest an inch from the left side of the deck in the wall of the hotel.You could not sit out there. Again.Extremely disappointing.The second morning a maintenance man came to our room to deal with the wasps. Mid morning. Highly active.I warned him not to as he was just going to try and seal the hole. He must have been stung a dozen times and gave up.No deck & dangerous getting him back in. SO DISAPPOINTING!!
