We were in town for a soccer game and decided to stay the weekend. When arriving to the hotel we were informed the main elevator was under maintenance. I feel like this should have been information available at time of booking.

First stay at this hotel

I stayed for two nights at this location. Very comfortable stay! The elevator was out of service in the front of the hotel, but there were many signs around the building explaining the service being done. Check in and out was a breeze and the free breakfast provided many choices. I’m usually choosing a Hilton/Mariott chain and this was my first visit at a Best Western Plus. Rooms were clean and the price was extremely affordable. I would definitely recommend!

Great location to zoo and airport playground, clean and very nice touches like a big shower and espresso machine. Breakfast was generous and staff all very friendly, helpful.

Everything’s was great overall, especially the staff. The hotel was overall clean. They are working on getting more updated. We liked the espresso machine in the lobby. There was some need for extra cleaning in crevices on the floor in places, and the bed was a little firm for me, but other than that everything was good.

Front desk associates at check in and check out were not very friendly; just seemed unengaged. The room didn't have a hair dryer which is disappointing because I just stayed in a BW plus in MS two weeks ago and they had one. The room smelled a little musty. Overall cost for the stay was good and the breakfast was nice.

This hotel met my needs but I'm not sure I'll come back. I was looking for something close to the Convention Center and this checked that box. It was a quick easy drive with several shopping and dining options between here and there to grab a meal at the end of the day. So the location was great. However the staff was lukewarm, the complimentary breakfast was not tasty, and the room wasn't as clean as I would like. It wasn't dirty, per se but I saw multiple cockroaches and stink bugs in the room and the shower sprayer only released a trickle of water. These weren't deal breakers for me since I spent most my time at a conference and minimal time in the room, but I will still consider booking elsewhere next year.
