Coming from Greenville, this has always been the hotel- it’s perfectly located, it has that old school charm, and the staff is excellent. The rooms vary- from small to large and from absolutely no view to fantastic views but no matter which room you stay in, it’s nicely appointed. It is a very old building so the bathrooms are small- Love the whole experience- I definitely recommend!!

The hotel has an understated elegance - historical, lovely, but not stuffy or “over the top.” We stayed in a junior suite which was generously sized and had a very comfortable sofa and arm chair. One of the things we enjoyed most was the piano music every evening at 5:30, except for Sundays. Very comfortable lounge seating and the option of food with your drinks. Hotel is perfectly located in the middle of town with easy access to the river walk and restaurants.
