Grenada getaway - GRENADE SUR L'ADOUR

Between the ocean and the Pyrenees, 11 km from the spa in Eugénie, the Grenadois region awaits you with its authenticity and gentle way of life. Stop in Grenade-sur-l'Adour, a waterfront fortified town with picturesque streets reminiscent of the old fortifications, lined with beautiful half-timbered facades; this is the case of the "Escapade Grenadoise" gîte, a tastefully decorated and modern townhouse with a ground floor and upper floor. You will enter directly through the living room, with a sofa, armchairs, and a TV area, a kitchen with a dining area, equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator-freezer combination, and a 3-burner ceramic hob, a pantry housing the washing machine. The comfortable staircase leads to 1 bedroom with a double bed (140 cm), 1 bedroom with triple bunk beds (double bed on the bottom, single bed on the top), a bathroom with a large shower, and a toilet in the bathroom. Baby kit: travel cot, high chair, bath seat. Wi-Fi available. An additional person can be accommodated in the room with 3 beds for €10/day/person. Electric heating, above 8 kilowatts/day. To park your car, there are nearby, free parking spaces. The cottage does not have an outdoor area; there is a cobblestone street in front of the cottage. You will enjoy the central village square, lined with small shops and hosting a weekly market. Cross the bridge and admire the view of the banks of the Adour, heading towards the Notre-Dame-du-Rugby Chapel in Larrivière-Saint-Savin and its small adjoining museum. North of Grenade-sur-l'Adour, in Bascons, the Course Landaise (Landaise Race) is celebrated in a dedicated chapel and museum.
