What an incredible property! We stayed in room 415, and the view from our balcony was spectacular! The ease of access to the town, to Grindelwald First Gondola, and many many hiking trails - highly recommended!

Truly beautiful location in the heart of Grindelwald. Even though the street was busy, we never heard the noise from our balcony overlooking the Eiger. The room had plenty of space and was comfortable and clean. Hotel staff was very kind.

As we were individual travelers, others should know that this hotel mostly serves large tour groups. It was very well run and the staff were incredibly professional. The location is good. View is incredible. No air conditioning in the hot summer months is uncomfortable. The room has a table fan and we had to ask for a second fan.

Our stay in Grindelwald was absolutely amazing! The mountain views from the hotel were breathtaking and truly felt like something out of a postcard. Waking up each morning to the stunning Swiss Alps right outside our window was unforgettable. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the First Cliff Walk gondola, making it easy to enjoy one of the area’s most spectacular attractions. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, providing the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The entire experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Between the incredible scenery, convenient location, and comfortable accommodations, this hotel made our time in Grindelwald even more special. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay here again!

Excellent time at the Sunstar! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was delicious and pool was beautiful with the most amazing views. Great location and ease of access to skiing, shopping and other places to eat. Thanks very much for an outstanding vacation in Grindelwald!
