No coffee maker in room or in lobby. Kitchen was inoperative. No water in the sink, stove did not work. Rooms were very run down and needed upgrading.

My husband & I stayed here 2x already and we enjoyed both stayed. It fits our budget and near both foxwood & Mohegan which we went to see a show both time & enjoyed shopping and gambling at the casino too. It fits our pricing budget and we will continue to go back . From staffing being so nice , cleaned room, and quiet from the loud noise inside the casino . Excellent stay !!! Will return over & over in our King 1 bedroom stay .,

Economical Stay

We were just staying overnight, so we didn't need all the amenities that you pay for at a higher-priced hotel. Gold Star Inn met our needs. The staff was accommodating and very nice. It is an older hotel, and there were some paint and furnishing upgrades, but some of the infrastructure needed improvement. Overall, it was a good night's stay.

Filthiest, most run down room I've EVER stayed in. I wouldn't even let my socks touch the floor, and Thank God I had my own sheets and pillowcases! I just covered the entire bed. A million dollars wouldn't make me go there again!

It's still 1978 here.

The rooms here are huge and I really enjoy the space. Place has a 1970s vibe because that's the last time this place was updated. 20 minutes drive to Foxwoods Casino Resort. There's a grocery store and a Walmart nearby. It's a hidden gem and a great value, and smoker friendly rooms. The TV service here isn't that great, but it

From the outside, the hotel looks fine. Inside the receptionist didn’t even pretend to be friendly. The room was large…in fact it was a large living space and a separate bedroom and bathroom. But the place had no heating at all in the living room and the heat was turned off in the bedroom with temperatures in the teens outside. Took forever to warm up both rooms. No coffee in or outside the room. Did have frig and microwave in the frozen over kitchen space.
