A farm in the Grottoes
This is an excellent property with much to see from landscapes to animals. The home is well equipped and clean. The amenities are plentiful. We cannot wait to return. This could be an annual destination. Lisa was very responsive to questions and accommodating to several itinerary changes.

Hidden Gem
Our party of 8 needed a place to stay for graduation ceremonies at JMU. We now wish we'd come just to enjoy the animals, river, and fire pit. Beautiful location and wonderful hosts...I hope we can make it back!

Fantastic Rental!
We will definitely be back. House was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. We loved the setting on the horse farm. Took a walk down to the river. Visited the horses and dogs. Loved the fire-pit area. It was so secluded and peaceful. Thank you to Lisa!

Horse Farm
We had a terrific visit at the horse farm. Had more than enough room for everyone. Hostess was great and friendly. We enjoyed horse rides and just being out in the country. We highly recommend this property if you want to disconnect from daily hassles for a few days.

Lovely getaway
We stayed at the property for two night to visit JMU, which is about 25 minutes away. There was ample space for 5 people with three bedrooms and two full baths. The convenience of having a washer/dryer was great and the house was clean. There were plenty of dishes and mugs, but a coffee pot would be a nice addition. Lisa was very responsive and a very sweet hostess! The horses and dogs were a nice bonus! Bring carrots if you want to feed them!

Nice gateway property 25 mins from the resort
Very nice relaxing property with beautiful horses. Could not heat up the grill well (something was wrong with It) and not enough hot water (could use a bigger water heater) would be the only two things that we were able to survive withouts, oh plus a coffee machine. All things considered we had a great time at the property.

I went on December 30 with my friend and our kids and we enjoyed all about it. It is very clean and organized. The property owner is very friendly and responsive. The farm is charming and the horses are amazing. I recommend this cabin for anyone who would to relax and enjoy the nature and the sound of nature.

A Magical Place
A very magical place. We loved all the horses and dogs and walking down by the river. The fire ring was very nice. It was 29 degrees and windy when we were there, so we did not light a fire, but we sat around it and plan to build one just like it. The house had all sorts of cute wall canvases/photos of the dogs and horses. Everything was well thought out in the house. We had everything we needed. We are definitely planning on returning.
