This place is perfect for a getaway if you don’t want a lot of tourists. It is about an hour and half from punta cana but they have a Facebook page with information. It was very informative. We will be back! It was great for a relaxing vacation for our 20th anniversary!

I loved this place so much I extended my stay! it’s not like Punta Cana all-inclusives but the staff is friendly and attentive. Darianny and Anna at the front desk are fantastic. The two bartenders, the Santos, are so fun and engaging. The beach is small but clear and calm, great for snorkeling. The pool is big with a smal swim up bar. The food was very good, both dinner and breakfast. The lobby bar is 24 hours and there’s a beach buffet with burger and fried chicken that’s 24 hours also. You don’t see that in Punta Cana. I will be staying here again. Not 5 stars, but it has what I need.

A very old five star resort with three star amenities and excellent staff. The beach and resort are an amazing feat of landscaping with palms everywhere for shade. Wonderful place to stay for an excellent value.

I reserved a two queen size room. When I checked in my room, there was only one bed. I went to the front desk to speak to someone. Instead of switching to a different room, they brought a twin size foldable bed. The air conditioner was not working the entire night. The food was so disappointing and so were the drinks. We encountered a with a staff member by the name of Victor who was beyond rude. I asked him to let me speak to his supervisor who he responded “please tell him something, I can’t wait for them to fire me from this place.” You get what you pay for in this place. Definitely won’t be coming back. I will say this , Wakanda was very nice and performed the show very well.

The buffet food has to be more update they repate the same menu but breakfast is wonderful

Ana Recepcion at the front desk and Mr. Melvin were awesome, friendly and welcoming. They accommodated us with our rooms and were always happy to help with things like getting change, asking for directions to touristic places. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit a beautiful place like guayacanes.

Definitely Coming Back

Service: While not a true 5 star luxury resort, the folks here are trying hard to make it that way. The service was impeccable. The workers seem genuinely happy to be there. Elvis, Maria, Jose and Wilson left a lasting impression on our group. Food: while there were a few things I didn’t care for; overall, the food was very good. When traveling to other countries, one must keep in mind the dishes of the local area are going to look and taste different than what one normally eats. Our favorite restaurant was the Brisas restaurant. Room: we booked a king deluxe ocean view with balcony. This isn’t a true ocean view option in the sense that you have a clear view of the water and beach. We stayed in room P337 facing the water. We had 2 balcony areas and the room was so nice. However, our room overlooked the stage where the evening entertainment took place. The host would scream into the microphone which seemed as if he was inside our room with us. It usually went on until 10:30 at night. We go to bed early in the evenings so this was brutal. Beach: Beautiful! There were peddlers who frequently stopped by but a simple”no thank you” kept them moving along. Suggestion: There needs to be a better way of letting guest know what’s happening during the day. We missed activities because we didn’t know about them. Also, there needs to be a list of days and times the a la cart restaurants are open so guests don’t waste an hour in line only to learn the restaurant of choice is closed.

The cleanliness of the property was very evident. However, it was the professionalism of the entire staff that won me over. They made sure our stay was comfortable and they paid attention to details. My hats off to the receptionists named Ana! She went above and beyond the call of duty. I would definitely recommend this Resort!

This was our least favourite stay ever. Other guests were incredibly inconsiderate at the restaurants/bars. They cut in line, or spoke Spanish to the workers who then gave them first treatment. There was entertainment nightly but was in Spanish with little options of other languages to include other guests. Be aware the cab ride from the airport is roughly 140us one way, as well no service staff at beach area and many smokers. Plus side was the ocean was beautiful to swim in but pools closed at 6pm and they ushered you out of the ocean by 7 pm.
