I liked it , it has a tropical vibe to it that you dont find in other chain hotels for considerable more money, breakfast used to be amazing, now its good,good section of baked goods, cold cuts, cheeses, but some items could improve their quality, some of their staff could be more acomodating speacilly me being alone with a child, and keep their voice down at the dining areas, pool is not warm, but most of the time you dont need it to be, overall a great experience food and all.

Grand at The Grand Hotel.

A very comfortable hotel in a very central, convenient location. The bedroom was spacious and impeccably clean with big comfortable beds. Our room faced the main road so we got some traffic noise but not enough to impact on our enjoyment of our stay. The food in the restaurant, both breakfast and evening meals, was surprisingly good at a very reasonable price. The pool was pleasant to sit by but remarkably cold…and I’m used to swimming in the English Channel!!! Without exception the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional in their tasks. I would most definitely stay here again if I come back to Guayaquil.

The best hotel we've stayed in so far during our vacation in Panama. The room was large. The bathroom was a little cramped. The air conditioner was pretty loud. The pool and other amenities, like the steam room and activities area were great. We are at the restaurant three times and all were enjoyable. The best part were the staff. I would qualify it as excellent except that the shuttle to return to the airport never made it and we had to take a taxi in a hurry. They didn’t anticipate a city parade!!!
