I absolutely loved my stay at Cottages on River Road. Cute, quaint, comfy accommodations, Aloha grounds, sweet little pool, friendly staff, few minutes to awesome brewery (w/food and taco truck)! Can't wait go back! The walk to downtown Guerneville is a little sketchy. Know your ability to be constantly aware of fast cars and trucks. I like challenges. ;-)

Little cottages all grouped together inside a little fenced in compound. Very pretty area. Check-in was easy and friendly. Room was clean and the staff were super nice. Air conditioning worked great. Walk in shower would be better served with a shower curtain I believe to keep water off floor but the shower was big and roomy and nice. Breakfast was nice and had variety of items available.

Beautiful setting

Beautiful setting, very peaceful. It was fun hanging out with other guests around the fire pit in the evenings. Comfortable room and reasonable rate. Great location as well. Will definitely be back.

This was a perfect weekend getaway! This is a very quiet part of the Russian river, and the property itself is an oasis! Delightful landscaping, absolutely delicious breakfast included, and super friendly accommodating staff. I especially loved the nightly bonfire and s'mores. This is a very dog friendly establishment, without being overwhelming for non-dog people. There is a pet area, which is secure, and the grounds are exceptionally clean.

I enjoyed the location of this property, fire pit with s'mores in the evening. The river is close by and towels are provided. Breakfast was a variety of Costco goods which is a win in my book. I would be happy to return here in the future.

Great value

Room was clean with a full kitchen. The bathroom had couple of floor corners that were moldy from moisture but overall good place and clean. It got a bit noisy with people talking outside and the sound of cars on the road next to the hotel. Windows were not properly installed as you could see gaps around it and it allows all the outside noise in. The hotel had decent breakfast and an overall beautiful atmosphere. Very good value.
