First of all, for all the negative reviews you see, please keep in mind that it's THE BEACH, sand will be everywhere, especially since it is tile flooring! I've always stayed here, atleast once a year, for ten years. It's always clean, fresh, and just right for me and my kids( we spend all day at the beach anyway). You're going to deal with humidity anyway, so if you're not from the south, maybe pack a small dehumidifier. Our room was clean, beds fine, although they could have swept up more, around the backs of the beds, it wasn't bad at all. Big fridge and freezer, and microwave. If you have any issues, they get right on it! Yeah, it's a little dated, but if you want to get ripped off go down the road where you will pay x3 the cost! This is an older hotel, but not once did I see a bug, bed bugs or anything ( I check heavily for these things!!!!) I always enjoy my stay, and it's walking distance to a lot of places ( bring a wagon for larger grocery purchases) also have an amazing restaurant across the street, it's a little pricey but the food is absolutely amazing and fresh! ( Bahama BoBs btw) Don't listen to the bad reviews. Listen to one who religiously stays at this hotel and has never had a bag experience!
