Upon entering the room we were met with a very strong scent of stale cigarette smoke and dampness. The toilet seat in the bathroom was not properly screwed in so the seat slid around every time you tried to sit down. The sink was barely hanging on to the counter tops. We had to purchase our own cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom. The ice bucket had been used as an ash tray from previous tenants leaving behind burnt plastic and melted in ash. There were stains all over the couch and walls. The microwave was dirty. Upon pulling back the comforter and sheets we found what seemed to be blood stains. We immediately went to the front desk to show them the pictures. The receptionists response was “that looks like blood” I simply agreed and asked for clean fresh sheets. She told me to meet her over by the elevators in the second building where we were staying. I met her over there where she handed me a bundle of sheets from the housekeeping room. I asked for a comforter and she went back into that room and came out and told me “we don’t have any, can I give you one tomorrow?” Because of that we went and had to purchase our own blankets to use. We sprayed the floor of the bathroom with cleaner and wiped it up. When the white wash cloth came back covered in black filth, we ended up checking out the very next day and finding an entirely new place to stay. The floors in the room had not been vacuumed either. The only one good thing was Melissa at the front desk.

I stay here everytime I go to the beach mostly in the off season. Staff is always friendly rooms are nice typical hotel style room. Breakfast in the morning is nice but if you are one building you'll have to walk a short distance to the other building but has a good choice for a quick bite.

Wish we had a better experience because the location was nice and we make this week long trip twice a year. Front desk was nice and beds was comfortable. But... room service was awful, they would take our 4 dirty towels everyday and leave maybe 2 or 3 clean ones. I think our trash was dumped maybe once over the 5 days we was there. We have our kids with us and when we checked in asked about the pool hours and desk said it just closed and no swimming after hour's. So we unpacked in the room then look out to see people swimming. Next night kids was swimming and at 9 on the dot they come out and say they are locking the pool and to get out so we do then maybe an hour later look out and people swimming again. We will find a different place when we return.
