No reservation received

Hotels.com made the reservation- when I arrived - no booking on system. Price for one night through Hotels.com was £146 per night. Had to book and pay for my own room at checkin due to no Hotels.com reservation- the price was £25 for one night.!!! How much are Hotels.com marking up the rates. Disgusted and disgraceful!!!!
