Spend pleasant hours fishing in the fjord, salmon fishing in Berby River or pike fishing in Femsjøen in Tistedal. The area also offers great hiking opportunities and day trips to the climbing park "Climbing on the Border", trips with the steamship M/S Turisten, or to Northern Europe's highest locks on Brekke.
The house is located near the fortress Fredriksten, with its exciting history and "Allsang på Grensen". For excursions it is a short way from the cottage to Sweden.
