We celebrated our anniversary here and it was our first time at Rockwater Secret Cove Resort. The ocean view was absolutely breathtaking, with fresh air and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Being in a canvas tent, it does get quite cold at night and you can feel the ocean breeze, even with the fireplace and heaters on. Still, it made for a unique and memorable experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to return again—this time in the summertime.

The room was nice but mold around the windows. The jacuzzi didn’t work the way it was supposed to and there was barely hot water. If i stay again, I think I’d try the tent as most good reviews are in regards to the tents.

The food was excellent, the staff were very nice. Our room was in the main lodge and was water damaged, it was pretty booked so no exchanges could be done. Bathtub didn't work and the ceiling had black mold stains. I would go back as long as I could book in a different part of the resort.

Unit concept to try: tent cabins facing the ocean! With a beautiful wooden path to get to your tent cabin deep inside the forest, away from noises and cars. Staff are very nice and super friendly (especially Sager who was a great help).

Beautiful grounds, my tent was lovely with views of the ocean, visiting in winter, it was still warm and gorgeous. staff were friendly and helpful, had a nice massage at the spa. Highly recommended as a solo traveler or for group get away. Complimentary smores were a nice touch.

It’s a beautiful property, but I’m not sure I’d stay in a tent room again. I was freezing despite their efforts to heat it. Also they are definitely not soundproof so you hear everything happening in nearby tents. : /

We stayed in the “ocean view cabin” and it was a totally disappointing experience. The view was a partial ocean view at best and looks far different from the photos they promote. The room should be categorized as “obstructed partial ocean view” and charge appropriately. It is ugly to lure people with the false images. Also, I found several strands of hair on the bedding and the washroom was not clean, giving the impression that the cleaning hadn’t been properly completed.

There was only one robe in the cabin when we arrived but that was easily fixed by the front desk. The next day however they never cleaned the room which was unfortunate. Later that afternoon our cabin ran out of hot water prior to us getting ready for New Year’s Eve and they were unable to fix it. They did offer us a different cabin to use.
