friendly owner, no pre pay booking online--cash is fine, close to shops, attractions etc, quiet, clean. room contained all needed for low cost motel. have paid twice the price in other locations for similar if not lesser quality rooms. will stay again when next in town

The property was older style (a lot are in Halls Gap), but is was really clean, warm, good room facilities and comfy bed. A great price and quiet. Plenty of wildlife to see and Kangaroos on the front lawn.

The motel is a pretty average place. I suppose you get what you pay for, it’s quite cheap to book but that’s noticeable. The bed was very uncomfortable and the front door is actually an interior door so is very thin and doesn’t make you feel very safe. The inside just feels very outdated. We arrived at 5:25pm on Friday and there was no management in the building to check in, I was told they would contact me soon or in the morning, I got a phone call while out for dinner at 8pm and then not again until 1pm the following day, when I went back to check in at 1:30, the reception was still locked and had to ring staff to let me inside to check in as they requested. On a positive note, the shower had good pressure.

Ideal location in central Halls Gap a block behind the main road. Enjoyed the wildlife (kangaroos, kookaburras and cockatoos) while sitting outside the room in the late afternoon. The room had all the usual motel facilities.

Had everything we expected for an overnight stay. The room was clean, beds comfortable. The bathroom could do with an update as it is very dated and worn. The information folder could do with an update and tidy up too. We would stay again tho.

Stated 1 night passing through the town, it was standard motel, nothing special or bad… Good things were, it was quiet, very convenient location, it has some kitchenette and dining table, and clean despite of its age. So, overall, good place to stay, exploring the Grampians.

Property is in good location, quite and comfortable. Local stores on the road. Can walk, no need to take yiur car ouronec you have parked. Kangaroos, cocktails, sheeps all around the property and they are very friendly. In budget and rooms were all occupied. Management can do little bit of work on back side of then property but overall was satisfactory
