Enjoyed my stay except noisy neighbour and being so close to the lift especially when the hotel had functions on as they used lift to get equipment out of hotel and they didn’t care about guests staying in the hotel late at night.

This is a really lovely apartment hotel in a former industrial building, the highlight of which is a Patanoster. The breakfast is excellent and is served in a lovely loft-style setting – high-quality produce such as a superb selection of cheeses, really good scrambled eggs, delicious croissants and so on. The only downsides this time were a) the heat (the room had no air conditioning, which isn’t usually a problem in Hamburg, but this week and last week were really sweltering) and b) the fact that during the week, after 10 pm when the bar closes, there’s no way to buy drinks or anything similar. A small vending machine would be helpful.
