Nice motel close to everything

Pros: Location, good size room.
Location: Shops and cafes nearby.
Very comfortable and friendly place to stay. Well equipped kitchen in our motel unit and the bed and shower facilities were great. Nice little pool too, but didn't swim due to cold un-summer like weather.

Lovely Quiet Motel

Pros: Room to move, didn't feel claustrophobic at all.
Cons: As mentioned above I think the owners would benefit (financially) by putting two queen size beds in the room as there was plenty of room.
Location: Very close to Cambridge City Centre which is a lovely quaint township, with plenty of eateries, shops etc. to entertain you.
Check in was easy and once we entered the room I felt that it was good value for money. Lots of room, so much so that I actually thought they should have two queen size beds and forget the single. I slept on that as I am a restless sleeper, but it is very much a single bed for kids (which of course is just fine). As we have our own holiday accommodation we rent out, I was keen to check out what this place offered. Everything was really well done, very neat and tidy and nothing shabby and worn out. Great idea to offer a dark coloured facecloth as I know I am guilty of rubbing makeup all over nice white towels or pillowcases and that is so hard to get rid of. I can see it would be a perfect place to stay if you were travelling on business and just felt like you wanted to stay in for the night and have a home cooked meal instead of eating out. The kitchenette was equipped with a portable two element benchtop cooker, plus there was a microwave too so very easy to cook up a quick meal.

Pros: Location and quiet no road noise at all.
Cons: Staff to welcome the clients with a smile. Also the coffee/tea cups were quiet dirty and stained.
Location: Great
To me a smile goes a long way, would of been lovely to be greeted with a smile or two. Didn't seen to go out of their way, just pointed to where the room was. Cups were very dirty and stained. Comfortable beds, great location, and lovely an quiet.

Satisfactory - a bed for the night.

Pros: Proximity to town, cheap.
Cons: Revamp the rooms - could fit a mezzanine floor in our huge unit. The pool area needed some landscaping.
Location: Walking distance to the shops.
Clean, sparse, far too large, no heart, almost clinical.

Great motel with big rooms

The room was the biggest we have had in New Zealand in any other motel. It was clean and the guy at reception was really friendly. We will definitely recommend this place to friends.
