The view from a reef room was terrific. The room and hotel are looking very tired needs a big update. All the free sports are good if you are young and healthy but nothing for elderly or part disabled paying guests. Also dining options non existent same old things night after night. One very important thing it needs a ramp up into the hotel not just huge steps.

Amazing view and location. Hotel rooms are run down and need a makeover. Outside of hotel is beautiful. Rooms have a smell to them. Dirty curtains, floors and walls. Rooms are large which is great. Beds and pillows need to be upgraded given how much you pay to stay. Loved our stay none the less. Nothing a good clean and makeover can’t fix. Departure and arrival lounge is wonderful to have access too once leaving.

The island is magnificently cultivated and exquisitely manicured as a tropical paradise. The resort is ageing but has been well maintained. It is clean and comfortable and the front desk and room servicing staff are exceptionally good. BUT.. that's where it ends. Restaurant staff are rude and unhelpful which is a theme continued across all outlets on the island. "Service with a smile" No Sir.. more like Ahghh.. do I have to... Food options are limited. Mostly unhealthy junk food and bewilderingly, places are closed when folk are hungry. Catseye beach is OK but doesn't rate on a world scale. The prices for all goods on the island are OUTRAGEOUS and compared to other popular destinations the "Value for Money " is just not there. Interesting experience but we won't be returning anytime soon....
