Great service, location and food!
Highly recommend The Bartley Lodge. All the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Great location, comfortable rooms, and the pool was an added bonus. I was most impressed with the food, Christmas dinner and breakfast were both excellent. I hope to be back and will be recommending this hotel.

Waited hour 10 minutes fir cooked breakfast. Time we got it all the other breakfast offers were tidied up therefore unable to get fruit juice or toast to accompany the breakfast. Run out of the salmon as offered in the menu for the bagels Servers were miserable never smiled Very expensive bar drinks and a drainage system that banged with trapped air all nite in the toilet wasn’t very pleasant stay.

Avoid paying for breakfast as service from staff isn’t great, you constantly have to ask for either cutlery, plates as nothing is monitored so when it’s run out you need to ask for replacement. We had only just finished yet the guy was in such a rush to get dirty plates it was like a seagull was in the room. So rather than the attention be on when people have finished more attention should go into what they are serving or lack of it.

Almost!!
Great room and lovely property. Just need more staff and the food didn't meet the quality expected from the prices. Staff were really nice and breakfast was nice (just craved for a hash brown). Could be a great place but a few things like the changing room at the pool, no air con, offered room service but told 'too busy' and poor communication in restaurant keeps it a 'nice'!
