We enjoyed the room, it was clean, we could see the place had gotten a lots of recent work done to it. I am only giving 3 stars due to the breakfasts situation - we are morning peoples and choose to stay in hotel/motel including breakfast as we like to get going without the need to look and find a place to eat in the morning. At Whispering Sand, the breakfast consisted of walking to the gas station, receiving a biscuit with something called gravy and maybe it was warm and maybe it was cold!!! Very dissatisfied!

Room was good, a glitch with one of the detectors and the desk help took care of it right away. It's off season so they did not provide breakfast, but provided a coupon for breakfast at the only place in town that I saw serving food. THANK YOU !!

I stayed at this establishment a few years ago, returning this time for another stay, the rooms were renovated and it felt even more cozy. The staff was friendly, every morning they freshened the room and provided fresh towels each time. There's also a friendly cat (one of the cleaning ladies said her name was Luna) that was absolutely adorable. I truly enjoyed my stay and I will gladly return on my next trip to Hanksville. Thank you for providing amazing service!
