There are nicer accommodations that can be had for the same price point in the Old Quarter. We were offered an upgrade to a room with a smaller bed than what we booked and a balcony that did not have sealed doors when it was very hot. The pictures and advertising are misleading on Expedia, Google Maps, etc. We arrived and the hotel was pretty run down and dingy. The shower didn’t drain and flooded the bathroom floor, there were no hand towels, and the room was in need of some touching up. It wasn’t super expensive and it was clean enough but the main issues is that it was falsely advertised as a 4 star hotel with pictures that are better than reality. We are from the USA and at first, we went sure if our expectations were just too high but then we came back to Hanoi and stayed in another hotel nearby that was the same price and the new hotel was better maintained. The property wasn’t well taken care of and there was a giant spider in the lobby when we were checking out (which to be fair might be less of an issue to people who aren’t scared of spiders). The staff were nice, friendly, and helpful but the hotel itself is not worth the price given you can find much nicer hotels in the area for the same price!

Overall I wouldn’t stay this hotel again. For the price and location it offers a good night sleep in a comfy bed, however the main problem is the WiFi is beyond shocking. If you plan on wanting to use the internet, don’t stay here, particularly on floor 2. Furthermore my room was far more dated than I expected and did not match the pictures online. That said the staff were excellent and really helpful and the breakfast was alright. Considering hotels are relatively cheap in Vietnam I wish I had stayed somewhere else.

Hotel location is great, walking distance to major tourist attractions in Hanoi. But what made us Hanoi stay most comfortable and fun were hotel staff especially front staff Anna was so helpful and friendly. It was our first time in Hanoi but she showed us the point of interests on the map and how to get there. BF buffet was great and all other staff were also helpful and tour arrangement were great too. They made us love Hanoi and want to comeback here and of course stay in Lotus Boutique Hotel. Thank you so much for great hospitality.

Anna and all staffs made sure we had a very pleasant stay. It was the warmest experience i ever had in hanoi. They upgraded and gave us the cake as it was our honeymoon. This is a super hotel. Great location close to the old quarter. Super breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. The beds are super comfortable. My granddaughters also told me to say that they liked the choice of pillows. 5/5 for everything!

The location is great, the room was perfect, quiet, clean, comfortable. They were very helpful with arranging tours. The best was the exceptional friendly hotel staff! In our opinion the value for money was outstanding and we highly recommend to stay here.

Me and my wife could not have been happier with this hotel all the staff did everything they could to make our honeymoon stay memorable, our room was beautifully made up with rose petals and it really was beyond my expectations and the breakfast each morning really first class and in an ideal position to explore the great city of Hanoi specially the old quarter thouroughly recommend staying here as i have travelled a lot around Asia and this hotel is in the top 5 ever.
