From the moment you enter you are treated like their #1 guest. Hot tea ans snacks while you await check in. Fruit plate and dessert plate with a personalized welcome written in chocolate. Great location to feel like you are a part of the city. Quiet rooms. Their breakfast buffet was top notch. Everything you could want to taste. I would come back and refer others!

Excellent treatment by staff, and kindness beyond appropriate description. Lovely breakfast. Great sky bar with fun choices. Language skills of staff are superb. The staff in the hotel was fantastic they went out of their way to make sure you had the best time in Hanoi. The room facilities were good, traffic noise didn’t come in which was a bonus. The only small con that the walls are thin and you can hear the people in the rooms next to you but luckily this wasn’t a major issue as we had neighbours who went to bed about the same time as us.

Perfect hotel in the best location.

I booked this hotel on a spontaneous trip. And it couldnt have been better. The staff was insansly helpful and friendly thats half the experience. Room as perfect my room was 3rd floor with balcony super clean. Hotel had lots of charm. And right in the heart of the old city. I highly recommended.

Great boutique hotel.

A very comfortable hotel with great service. The rooms are snug but well appointed with all amenities. If you are looking for a very quiet stay opt for an internal facing rooms as those with balconies have a fantastic view, and give you a great atmosphere of the lake and old town, however can be noisy late into the night and early morning. We dined in the restaurant which was great food and service. Overall we had a great experience at the La Sinfonia del Ray.

Great Hanoi old town and central hotel. The standout has to be the staff who were all pretty incredible. I don't think I've ever felt so at home in a hotel. Pretty much everything you'd want to see in central Hanoi is in walking distance with the hotel facing out directly on to one of the city lakes. Market/night market, shops, bars and restaurants are minutes away whilst the hotel has its own restaurant and rooftop bar.

The location is perfect and the staff is outstanding. There's also a very nice rooftop bar overlooking the lake. It was perfect for our stay in Hanoi. Special shout-out to Jennie, who was very sweet and went above and beyond for us. While we were eating at the restaurant, she stopped by our table to check on us. My wife casually mentioned we were on a big trip for her birthday. 2 minutes later, the staff brought out a cake and sang her happy birthday. And she even gave my wife a small gift. It was so nice!

I valued the staff's help during the stay. Even in the end, they helped me get my taxi half a block from the hotel because the street was closed by the local government. The neighborhood is very entertaining and walkable. I had a great stay at the hotel facilities.

This was a last-minute booking.  Our original plan was to take a cruise on Ha Long Bay, which was canceled due to the weather.  We booked the cheapest available room and came back to the hotel.  They welcomed us back with open arms and even upgraded our booking to match our first booking.  This was the bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience due to our canceled cruise.
