Our stay at Solaria Hotel exceeded expectations and we are sad that we didn't book a longer stay. The location is excellent, next to Hoan Kiem lake but on a quiet street. Easy walk to the Old Quarter, St Joseph Cathedral and train street. Check in was exceptional and Grace took the time to personally welcome us, explain the hotel and the surrounding area and ask if there was anything we would like to do or see before we left Hanoi. She went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble for her. She made a reservation for us at MIAs restaurant (highly recommend) and surprised us by organising a birthday dessert for me. Truly a special person and a credit to the hotel. The rooms are well appointed and the bathrooms are very grand. We slept very well and then enjoyed an exceptional breakfast buffet. You may order from a menu with eggs/cooked breakfasts made to order and enjoy the large selection from the buffet, including a coffee machine and the excellent Vietnamese coffee. Upon checking out the hotel organised a very nice car to transfer us to the airport and presented us with a gift. We were very touched and couldn't believe that we had received this level of service. We didn't get to say goodbye to Grace but we have left Hanoi with very special memories and feel that her customer service has played a big part. If we are ever back in Hanoi we would only look to stay at Solaria Hotel. Thank you Grace and all of the team.

The staffs here are the best, especially Lily, Susan and Grace. Usually I don't even remember names but here at Solaria I had to since their service was always above and beyond my expectation. Honestly, I've never experienced this level of service elsewhere in the US. The room was on the smail side by American standard but it was nice and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Overall, I was extremely satisfied.

You can order breakfast from a menu & also select from a variety of food which we enjoyed. The staff were amazing and made our stay memorable. The second room was much smaller than expected and outdated compared to the photos online - we booked the connecting family room. I would still recommend staying at this hotel! You receive discounts on massages & their restaurant down stairs which we visited twice out of the 4 night stay!

We had a fantastic stay and would happily stay again. The hotel is well located and easy to access the highlights of the Old Quarter. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff service was exceptional, they learnt our names and always welcomed us each time we left or returned, as well as shared advice and tips. Lily was a standout host and made our stay enjoyable. The breakfast exceeded expectations and was delicious and the spa services were excellent also.

Excellent, attentive, friendly staff. From check-in on everyone knew our name. Nice room, small balcony but a decent street view. Very comfortable king bed. Great breakfast included, buffet and/or cooked to order. Preferred breakfast to dinner, but we usually headed out for the latter. 1 block from the lake. Very good restaurants and shopping all around. Fun romantic rooftop bar. We booked a tour or two, transportation from the airport upon arrival, travel on to Ninh Binh, etc through the hotel and it was a great deal.

I was so happy with my stay at Solaria Hotel. Room was very comfortable with great air conditioning and plenty of amenities and free bottled water daily. Bed was very large and extremely comfortable with perfect pillows. Breakfast provided a large western menu option and Vietnamese cuisine also. We dined at Mia’s, the onsite restaurant 3 times and enjoyed delicious Vietnamese dishes and excellent service. The staff in reception were friendly and professional and assisted us with day trips, SIM card installation and airport pickup at very affordable prices. We were allowed to extend our check out time on our last day until 4pm for $40 aud.- 5 star service thank you Solaria team.

Our stay at Solaria Hotel was amazing — easily the best in Hanoi! The room was spacious and beautiful, which is rare in the Old Quarter. The location was perfect, close to shops, cafes, restaurants, and main sights. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved relaxing with cocktails at the rooftop bar after exploring. A huge thanks to Liam, who organised our Ha Long Bay trip, airport transfers, and even a complimentary foot spa. He made everything stress-free, especially travelling with kids. We also received a lovely thank-you gift of Vietnamese coffee when we left — such a thoughtful touch. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend Solaria Hotel!

The staff at this hotel were the best we experienced when travelling Vietnam, very attentive and informative throughout our stay. The breakfast options were very varied and all homemade. The staff even arranged for a gluten free waffle to be made for one of our party. The staff is conveniently located within the Old Quarter, right next to Hoan Kien Lake. Cannot recommend more highly.

The hotel was pretty much exactly as the pictures show. Breakfast was incredible, the staff were kind and helpful, and the spa, restaurants, and sky bar were wonderful. We paid for one of the cheapest rooms here, and while the actual room was modest in size and did not have much view, we thought we got a great value for the money (you can pay for a larger room if that'simportant). Location is right in Old Quarter with easy walkability. Airport transfer was simple even with a later arrival.
