Overall the property is quite nice, but not as described.
When we rented, the property was not described as an active farm. All of those photos of lush, green rolling hills are currently barren, tilled, corn fields.
Many acres of forest were recently clear cut and fenced off. There are now a couple herds of cows on the property.
The owners claim the rental has 60 acres, but that's split between them and their child whom lives on the property. (This also wasn't listed.)
This property also has weird rules about trash disposal, they want you to compost the food scraps, carry some materials to the local fire department, leave other things on site etc. It was literally a 10 step process.
They also don't allow any fires. This is hidden on the post... you have to go to "house rules" and click "show more". I guess that one's on me, but what kind of cabin doesn't support camp fires?
The building itself was in alright condition. You can see a sliver of the lake from the house and the property was relatively quiet.
