🌲✨ River Bend Cabins – Pure Magic on the River! ✨🌲 If you’re looking for the perfect getaway, River Bend Cabins is IT!! 🏞️💯 From the moment we pulled up, we felt relaxed, welcomed, and completely surrounded by nature’s beauty 🍃🦋. The cabins are spotless 🧼, super cozy 🛌, and right by the river 🌊 — we could hear the water from our porch and it was so peaceful 😌💤. Every morning, we enjoyed coffee ☕ on the porch while watching the mist rise off the water 🌫️🦆. Afternoons were spent exploring the riverbank 🚶‍♂️🐾 and evenings were all about campfires 🔥, s’mores 🍫, and incredible stargazing ✨🌌. Total reset for the soul ❤️🙏. The property is beautifully maintained 🌻 and you can tell the owners put their heart into making sure guests feel at home 🏡. Beautiful location right over the river, little noisy with the train coming through multiple times a night but didn't really bother me, just said it for any light sleepers out there. I will definitely be booking here again in the future! Family lives about half hour from here so it was perfect for us!

The cabin is cute and may be a good place to stay in the summer but it is NOT a good choice for winter unless some updates are made. 1. It was 8* outside and the window were not covered well. You could feel cold air blowing into the house. Thankfully, my mom packs everything and we duct taped blankets over the door and windows. 2. Both space heaters in the living room were apparently for looks and decoration because they didnt put out any heat. There was a leg broken on each one and they both kept falling over. We had to unplug them while we slept for our safety. 3. The heater worked better in the bedroom. I wish we had had more of these. When I woke up this morning and went to the living room...I could see my breath it was so cold. 4. No cooking supplies in the "kitchen". We brought food to cook so we could save money and there were two burners on the stove but NO trying pans, pots or spatulas. We wound up eating out for dinner and breakfast the next morning. There were some plates in the cabinet...but only ONE spoon! No other silverware to be found. 5. There were HUGE cobwebs in the kitchen and the blinds were very dirty. The blankets need to be tossed because they are very old. 6. Lots of broken items: the chair in the kitchen had broken legs and couldnt be use. Broken legs on the space heaters. Couch needs to be replaced. 7. Problems with the toilet flushing. It was a process to get it to flush everytime and this was with putting the toilet paper in the trash.

Weather was 25°, heating was very inadequate to obtain adequate temp, very uncomfortable. Kitchen light not working, one burner of 2 burner cooktop not working, kitchenette unit - not enough plates, serving utensils, no pots and pans, etc. Bedroom - one bunkbed had one mattress support board hanging down with 2 nails sticking out. The unit walls had cracks to outside that let cold wind blow through. Bathroom has black mold ceiling and other areas. I thought Expedia reviewed their properties, but I guess not, at least not adequately. We booked for 2 nights, left after the first night and lost our money. Don't trust Expedia's property ratings. We don’t anymore.

Bad experience bugs in the cabin no heat stove did not work fell through the bed and cut my self the bottom was rotted out only a 100$ a night but unfortunately will not come back

When we showed up they didn’t even know we were coming. We got to our cabin and the foundation was broken and flooring is not level. The doors scraped the flooring creating really big scuff marks. The bunk beds looked like someone had slept in them. The pillows were dirty and there was a dirty wash rag in the bathtub. The kitchen was dirty. The microwave was broken and there were dirty dishes in the cabinet. I spoke with the owner who had no idea of the cabins condition and he had his housekeeper come the next day to put clean sheets in the bed and change out our towels the following day. The heater was broken but the owner was nice enough to provide us with a second heater. He also offered to let us stay in a camper but we chose not to move.

We arrived WAY past check and the owners were SO accommodating. He even went so far as to stay on the phone with me to give turn by turn directions until i arrived.

These are very comfortable, rustic cabins for an extremely reasonable price. The cabins are very clean and cozy, with many of the guest's needs anticipated in the form of cookware, utensils and various expendable items. The cabins themselves are actually made of solid, hewn logs (which I don't see very often anymore) and very charming. The host lives in a separate building onsite and is very friendly and responsive. The Spring River is a short walk away, the covered wraparound deck is perfect for sitting outside and relaxing, and there's a fire ring and barbeque grill for kicking back outside. Stores and restaurants of various kinds are within a short drive. Basically, we enjoyed the ambiance of cabin living without sacrificing quick access to any conveniences. I strongly recommend this property.
