It is not far to the Dankernsee and holiday center Schloss Dankern, on foot about 1.2 km (10 - 15 minutes), and the city center of Haren / Ems is not far (about 2 km). Haren is a state-approved resort on the Dutch border (about 10km), the city is known for its steady growth, its shipping history, ... well beyond the Emsland.
