Enjoy skiing at Pleasant Mt, explore Steven King’s nearby sugar house, kayaking the large private pond, the or take a scenic drive through the white mountains. Ideal for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Come experience all season enjoyment in Maine This contemporary 2 bedroom 1 bath house is ideal for 4 guests for a luxurious experience in the middle of nature.

Nearby Attractions

The famous author, Stephen King, and family, own a sugarhouse steps from the property for turning sap into delicious and natural maple syrup, which is temporarily closed to the public. Pietree apple orchard is also owned by the family and is just down the road and will hopefully be open next season to the public

Rent a boat at beautiful Kezar Lake, a personal favorite of ours on the hot summers, is only 8 miles away, with the magnificent white mountains in the background, free public pet friendly beach on town beach road with private picnic sites, or eat at the Loons Nest Restaurant

We also love pleasant mountain trail in Bridgton views are amazing.

North Conway also features quaint shops, delicious dining options, and the Conway Scenic Railroad, a historic railway offering picturesque rides through the countryside. Whether you're an adventure enthusiast or a peace seeker, North Conway has something for everyone. Pleasant Mountain ski area (formerly Shawnee Peak) located in Bridgton, is 9.9 miles from property, just a short drive. Lovely loons will lull you to sleep after you come in from the outdoor sauna, or as you reflect on the dock by Beaver Pond just steps away from this beautiful peacefully designed home.

We had an amazing time at the cabin. The location is nestled away in the woods in Sweden, Maine, right next to a pond. The house is very modern and has great amenities, including big rooms, an outdoor fireplace on a large deck, a game room in the basement, and best of all: an outdoor sauna! This place is great and I would highly recommend.

A very cozy and spacious (for four people) new house with excellent appliances and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We really enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and indoor stove—it all created a wonderful atmosphere and allowed us to unwind. Thank you very much to the hosts for their detailed and timely instructions. We will find a time to come back there again.

A wonderful, cozy setting to get away from the stress of daily life and unwind / recharge. Great finishes & smart decor throughout the entire home provide the feeling of luxury during your stay, in addition to being the gateway to an outdoor oasis. The pond is lovely and a 30-60 min paddle on the host provided kayaks proves a perfect way to take in the natural beauty on offer. All in all, a great property & exactly what we’d hoped it would be!

Beautiful comfortable property

We couldn't have been happier with this property! We stayed for 3 nights during February break while we skied Pleasent Mountain and as good as the pictures look it was even better in person. This home was spotless, comfortable and tastefully decorated. There was also every amenity we needed so we were able to travel light which is a huge plus. The host was super responsive and friendly. Only bad thing about this place was having to leave it. A++

October 2025 Maine Get Away

Everything that was advertised and more. Great home in a private location. A convenient drive to nearby Bridgton as well as easy drives to Fryeburg and North Conway, NH. The home has a well equipped kitchen and nice furnishings throughout. We especially enjoyed the fireplace, large deck, and the lake view. Easy check-in and check-out procedures. The hosts provided all necessary information in advance and answered questions we had very quickly. I highly recommend this location.
