A nightmare

I could not stay there because it felt unsafe (people walking by could look into the room unless the single blackout curtain was drawn) and had a creepy vibe. The bathroom was a joke with a walk in shower with only a curtain (no glass door) right next to the toilet. I was told the room had a brand new mattress, but there was no way I was going to stay there, so I left, even thought the room was prepaid.

Philly Trip

Trip to Philly from North Carolina. We stay overnight in Harrisonburg when we travel north. The hotel is right off the highway. It was late, so we had to check in next door. We had 2 rooms. One on first floor, one on second floor. The room was tidy and the bathroom was an accessible one because I’m a handicapped senior. We were ready for bed when we saw a roach climbing the wall. The front desk was closed so we could not make a complaint. We informed the staff at checkout and showed them a picture. We also complained to corporate office but have not heard back from them. My first and last time staying in this place. Harrisonburg is a favorite place for us. We travel to Philly a lot and stay at different places everytime in Harrisonburg as it is a halfway stop for us.

Need light!

Room was clean and large enough; however, the light above the sink was very dim and hard to put makeup on without opening up the drapes at the window. Need to install light above the sink and that will make a world of difference in my ratings.

They charged a $50 deposit, which was never mentioned by Expedia or the Ramada pre-checkin. Made us feel like second class citizens. Renovations were cheap and incomplete. Duplex covers were missing, poor lighting and extreme traffic noise. Will not return.

Great overnight on trip!

I was traveling with my dog and chose this hotel for the location near I-81, and it being pet friendly. The room I was given was very comfortable, clean and convenient for dealing with my dog. I was very pleased that there’s an ample amount of space for dogs to do their business, a refuse container and supply of disposal bags available for guests to use. Highly recommend!
