The check in was not informative. We had no idea the restaurant was on the second floor. Sad you have to work it all out by reading a leaflet. The human touch just lacking. The location and Harrogate is lovely but the hotel is below par. Breakfast quality wasn’t great and had much better in other Crowe Plazas. Would rate Leeds CP over this but because they are in Harrogate and it’s next to the Convention centre they don’t need to really try as it’s in a prime place. Shower dribbled and the tap leaked so the water ran over the side intro the floor so need to leave a towel. Told reception but they weren’t too bothered. Check out was just a good as check in and there was no “how was your stay”. OR if they don’t want to know “we hope you enjoyed your stay”. ! Did speak to General Manage and he was very kind and did listen to our views.

I expected more from the Plaza to be honest. Staff were helpful and attentive but the overall hotel itself is tired in the common parts and needs updating. The room was ok, very clean etc and in reasonble condition. Breakfast could be better in terms of choice. Although you could order what you liked and service was very good. The staff worked very hard and were very polite. Lovely people.
