From the moment we checked in, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was large with an excellent ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and the food was brilliant. We only stayed for 2 nights but thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Would recommend the Hotel Mariners to anyone

Mariners , a lovely hotel

Very good indeed. Friendly check in, Excellent cleanliness , fabulous breakfast with a lovely friendly waitress . Sun 15/6/25. A wonderful character old hotel , would stay again without hesitation.

The hotel is in a great location and I did have a good night’s sleep, but overall it’s quite dated and a bit run down. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made a positive difference. I had dinner in the restaurant, the food was fine, but the atmosphere was a little awkward with only one other local couple dining. Breakfast was decent, with a cooked option plus cereal and fruit. Fine for a short stay, but the place could do with some modernisation.

If you like hotels with character then this the place for you. The Mariner's is 400 years old this year. I've known this building since i was a child and i absolutely love staying here.

The staff were really excellent, from memorising our breakfast preferrnces, to reporting maintenance issues, and providing invaluable local info! Maintenance issues were: hairdryer not working, and a sliding loo seat (!) but quickly dealt with. A really comfortable stay.

Very happy with our stay at Hotel Mariners. The rooms were spotlessly clean and cozy. Staff were friendly and helpful. No issues with the reservation through Expedia, and checking in was efficient. We enjoyed a cozy dinner and drinks in the bar area, and had an excellent Full Welsh breakfast in the restaurant area that was included in the price of the rooms! Great place to stay in Wales at Hotel Mariners, hope to be back.

Very nice hotel. Safe and quiet. It is not very good for people with mobility problems. Steep stairs to climb. No lift. Please be aware of this because i struggled with the stairs. Breakfast good.

Pembrokeshire Visit

The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming however I feel I need to leave this review. The staff work hard however I feel the property lets itself down. It feels that money has not been spent on the hotel and the produce delivered at breakfast seemed low quality. The property has so much to offer especially with the 400 year anniversary on the horizon. It would be lovely to see this hotel flourish with updating. It is in a perfect location to visit Pembrokeshire and the staff are amazing and sadly I cannot be positive about the comfort and cleanliness.

Comfortable, quiets and spacious rooms. Very welcoming & cheerful, helpful staff. The Mariner's is perfectly placed to explore the town on foot. I don't normally have an evening meal when staying at The Mariner's but i did on this occasion and it was very good and piping hot.
