Nice enough place to stay, location is great and a good base for exploring the Scottish Borders.However, the property is missing quite a few of the kitchen basics; there wasn't enough crockery for our family of 5.Great hob and oven and all appliances work well, however, whole place shakes when washing machine is on, so timing is key!Electric shower was really not great, but the corner bath is lovely.Most importantly; there aren't 1.5 bathrooms... there is one. One toilet, one bath, one shower... 2 basins! Overall, the decor and aesthetic of the property is nice, and the location is a good base for a Borders holiday.With a few tweaks this could be an amazing holiday home.
