Beautiful property and friendly staff. Right in the old town and our room overlooked the river and bridge. Great location (albeit 1.2km walk from the trams and approx 3km from the train station) so if you’re not into waking you’ll need to learn the bus system or hop in a cab.

Terrific stay just inside the gate! Amazing location. Rooms and hotel were beautiful. Our balcony was an unexpected surprise and stunning. Breakfast was good. Close to everything and walkable to everything.

This is a great place to stay to feel part of the old town in Heidelberg. Great views across the river. The restaurants and bars close at 10.30pm in the old town, so it’s not noisy at night time. It was very hot weather when I stayed and the room didn’t have aircon but I kept the windows open and fan on and slept well. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would be nice to have facilities to make hot drink in room. I’d definitely recommend this to friends and I’d stay again if I was in Heidelberg. Perfect location to explore. Easy to get the bus from outside the hotel to go back up to the train station etc

The Holländer Hof was a fantastic stay! It is perfectly situated in the old city of Heidelberg, steps away from the Old Bridge. The staff were very friendly and informative and just loved it overall!

We lived in Germany over a decade ago and Old Town was a regular weekly visit for us. Staying at the Hollander was incredible! It’s beautiful, rush with history and within walking distance to everything local, including hopping on the train!

What a beautiful town and a beautiful hotel. I highly recommend for your stay in Heidelberg, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly - perhaps the best staff we encountered during a 10 day 5 city EU tour. The hotel is very close to all the attractions and dinning options, room was spacious and clean. It's not a modern hotel, but it's not a modern city.

Location and view from room was great. Clean and comfortable. Ended up getting ADA room and toilet was way too high. Due to high occupancy no other room with view was available for same price. Did not want to upgrade to suite for one night. Staff did not explain property or amenities (e.g. Wi-Fi etc.). Breakfast buffet looked great ordered a la carte and it was plenty and very tasty.

The best location, we went for an upgraded room over looking the River. Stunning views. Great hosts, would definitely be back. Parking is nearby and costs €19 per night. Safe and secure
