Great for families

Great location. Lots of space for Europe. We had a family of four and were able to have 3 separate sleeping areas. (Could have used the living room as a fourth.) Very secure and safe building. Beautifully decorated. Elevator. Washer/dryer. Great place!!! If/when we go back, we'd stay there again.

Fantastic location, wonderful apartment!

Beautifully located apartment was just perfect for our short stay in Heidelberg. Just steps from the Main Street with all sorts of pubs and shops so close. The apartment is well equipped with all you need and is very cozy. My mother took the main bed and I had the little nook bed and we were both very comfortable. I highly recommend!

Close to old town, bridge and cable car to castle.

The apartment is in a 250 year old building which has been comfortably renovated. Frank was an excellent host and was very helpful with our bags. The apartment is on the edge of the old town which makes for easy access. Most enjoyable was the peace and quiet ... one street away from the busy pedestrian main street.

Great location!

Location of this property is excellent. Frank was great and at the apartment at agreed upon time ready to check us in. A very good communicator with us. We enjoyed our stay very much, but a couple of points to mention for future vrbo'ers: the washer is shared by other residences of the building. You may have to "wait your turn". Also, parking is really not provided. Public parking is available a very short, walkable, distance away from the apartment, for a fee. We did know this ahead of time because i inquired before booking, but it's a little misleading (in our opinion). Overall, a great stay. Thank you!

Gem of a place in a perfect location

Stayed here with husband and 7 yr old daughter for a week and it was perfect for our needs. In the heart of old town but still quiet. Would definitely return! Frank is a great host—responsive, friendly, and helpful.

Great location, quiet, great owner

My teenage son and I stayed for 11 nights, and this flat helped make our visit to Heidelberg during the Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Markets) so enjoyable. It was very comfortable for the two of us. I was able to cook, and the bathroom is especially large. The location is perfect, on a quiet street right near the Bergbahnhof and the Church of the Holy Ghost. Herr Böhm, the owner, couldn't be more welcoming and accommodating. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Heidelberg

Wir waren zu zweit für ein Wochenende in Heidelberg und haben in dieser wunderbaren Ferienwohnung gewohnt. Die Lage ist perfekt, mitten in der Altstadt. Alles war sauber und gemütlich. Die Kommunikation vor der Anreise war super. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder :)

Kurzurlaub zu zweit

Eine für Heidelberg fast schon typische Unterkunft, wenn man nicht auf ein Hotel aus ist. Sauber, gemütlich, mit einem ganz eigenen Charme. Ein sehr freundlicher sympathischer, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber empfing uns persönlich. Die zentrale Lage erlaubt es, die Gastronomie und Spaziergänge in angenehmer Atmosphäre zu genießen. Trotzdem ist es eine ruhig gelegene kleine Oase.

Netter Aufenthalt

Wir hatten Glück mit Wetter und Quariter in Heidelberg, die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und hat alles, was man für einen kurzaufenthalt braucht. Mir hat auch die hinterlegte Geschichte des Hostel gefallen. Gerne wieder und eine Empfehlung für alle, die nicht unbedingt einen TV Empfänger brauchen.

Knuffige Wohnung im Herzen Heidelbergs

Die Wohnung ist gemütlich, und sehr zentral und dennoch ruhig im Herzen der Altstadt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Bergbahn Richtung Schloss/Königsstuhl gelegen. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Lage ist super, alles klein, aber fein. Ein paar mehr große (Suppen-)Teller als jeweils 2 wären für 3 Leute gut gewesen, auch größere Duschtücher, aber es hat auch so gereicht und wir hätten ja auch danach fragen können. Sehr netter Vermieter. Wir würden wieder hin fahren.

Anders als erwartet

Die gute Lage mitten in der Altstadt ist super. Beim Ankommen bekommt man erstmal einen Schock: Alles alt und ziemlich runtergekommen, eine 50 cm schmale Treppe, die sich einen dunklen Gang hinaufschlängelt, ein Zimmer, das selbst zusammengezimmert ist und bei dem man überall sieht, dass der "Handwerker" eben keiner ist ... Aber nach diesem ersten Eindruck ... gutes Bett, gute Dusche, netter Vermieter, Heizung funktioniert, die Teller und Tassen könnten vielleicht auch mal keinen Sprung haben ... Wenn man sich darauf einlässt, alles gut!

Mittendrin und doch recht ruhig

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Altstadt, aber nicht mitten im Trubel. Somit ist es abends doch angenehm ruhig. Zur historischen Bergbahn sind es nur wenige Hundert Meter, ein schöner Platz mit Weinbar und Café direkt um die Ecke. Vermieter Frank ist super nett und die kleine, aber feine FeWo in ihrer Ausstattung einwandfrei. Danke aus Hannover :-)

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen, innerhalb weniger Minuten im Zentrum, Wohnung gepflegt!

Wir haben uns in der kleinen, ehemaligen Studentenbude sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit Frank verlief einfach und reibungslos. Er stand uns mit Insider Tipps zur Seite. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen, sodass man in wenigen Minuten sowohl das Zentrum von Heidelberg, als auch die Bergbahn hinauf zum Königsstuhl erreicht. Wir kommen gern mal wieder!

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Stadterkundung

Im Herzen von Heidelberg

Durch die zentrale Lage war man ohne große Wege direkt in der Altstadt. Alles wenige Schritte entfernt. Bäcker, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants waren in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Frank war sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Man fühlte sich nicht als Gast sondern eher zu Hause...

am Fuße des Schlosses

Frank ist wunderbar, sehr verfügbar und sehr fürsorglich. Das Gebäude ist sehr charmant und gut gelegen mit allem, was Sie in der Nähe brauchen. Der Komfort der Wohnung bleibt bescheiden. Die Wohnung eignet sich daher für eine Einzelperson für einen längeren Aufenthalt oder zwei Personen für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Aber es ist besser, nicht gezwungen zu sein, zu Hause zu bleiben.
