Our house is located in a residential area on the outskirts of Heiligenhafen. The flat is located in a semi-detached house (below). It is a 50m2 ground floor flat + terrace. Another flat of 75m2 is located in the upper part of the semi-detached house (1st floor + attic) and the landlord lives in the other half of the house. The landlord has the possibility to use the washing machine. The garden can be used by our guests. The pedestrian zone (the town centre) can be reached on foot in approx. 15-20 minutes and the beach is approx. 2000m away.
Take a guided tour of the seabird colony and get to know its inhabitants and the typical salt marsh plants, see tiny crabs in the damp mudflats and watch the oystercatcher pull a lugworm out of the mudflats. Nature conservation wardens will guide you to the gull colony. With a bit of luck, you can hold a 37-degree egg or a hatched hatchling in your hand and a trip to the harbour is always a wonderful experience. No matter what time of day you visit, there is always something to see here. See more and switch off... The partly two-storey pier, which changes direction twice, stretches a whopping 435 metres out to sea! All year round, it offers a view of the sometimes calm and sometimes turbulent sea. - In good weather, holidaymakers and day trippers even have the opportunity to see as far as Fehmarn. It's simply marvellous to let the balmy wind blow around your nose while enjoying an ice cream or a fish sandwich and let the gloomy thoughts drift away! Old town :Enjoy the old town romance of the old fishing village on the Baltic Sea while strolling through Heiligenhafen.
