The were finishing up some renovations when we were there but the hotel was surprisingly quite and clean. Very convenient to downtown Helen. Breakfast was tasty and there was a lot of variety. The outdoor area was clean and there is a great view of the river and folks tubing if you get a balcony river-view room. Would definitely stay there again!

Amazing stay, friendly staff, walking distance from all the shops and restaurants. Water access, fire pit, waterside chairs, extremely peaceful at night. Beautiful location and atmosphere. Will be back!

A Real PET Friendly Hotel….in my room I found 2 coch-roaches, Spiders and flies. Upon arrival to the room, found a roach desd roach, then a roach crawling on the cieling. I complaciendo to the evening Clerk “Erika McDonnell. She said, “I will let my supervisor know”. I insisted she call her supervisor. I then spoke with Hannh Helms who promised a “Deep and thorough CLEANING of the room since there were no vacancies. We left the next morning and retornes in the evening and to our surprise “NO ONE HAD EVEN ENTERED THE ROOM, for it was in tacked, as how we had left it. I calmly spoke with Hannah again, to which she said, “My house keeping crew told me (it was taken card of) and again no one present in the evening to clean. Hannah appologized and offered 1 free night in any Hampton Inn hotel, to which I said, “What makes you think we would ever stay in a Hampton Inn again. I Am not mad that there were ROACHES, SPIDERS, and FLIES in the room. I am mad because no one cared enough to even check. In the 4 days we were there only Erika steped in the room once because I insisted for her to see that “House keeping” did not even take care of the room. I do not want compensation, I want a call from Corporate before I publish this in social media… I drope all day and just got home 09/21/25 00:26

Not like any Hilton/Hampton I’ve been to. It was under renovations, but our room was “finished” Ugly carpet and poor renovation. No bathroom fans. Thought it was broken, but was told it’s ventilation and no fans. The poop smells and shower humidity lingered. Bring toilet spray if you have a teenage boy lol. The room was really spacious! The doors don’t shut. Just won’t be back, had an icky motel 6 vibe.
