Little Barnfield is a thoughtfully modernised barn conversion designed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Although set within the grounds of Barnfield, it enjoys its own private position with separate parking and a good sense of seclusion. With views towards the Helford River, a super-king bedroom, an enclosed lawn and an outdoor shower, it is a wonderful base for enjoying this special part of Cornwall.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive use of Little Barnfield cottage, including the enclosed outdoor area and private parking for up to two cars. While the property is located within the grounds of Barnfield, it is positioned in its own separate space away from the main house, allowing guests to enjoy privacy throughout their stay.
Other things to note
Little Barnfield is ideal for couples and can accommodate one small dog. Access is step-free, though the cottage is reached from the road by a sloping driveway of around 50 metres. Guests can enjoy self-check-in, a Smart TV with streaming access, a Nespresso machine, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a microwave, an air fryer, an iron, and a hairdryer. Bed linen, bath towels and beach towels are all provided. The village pub, The Black Swan, offers excellent food, and the Village shop is just a five-minute walk away. The Sula café, located at the heart of the boat yard, is a 5-minute walk, and the Seal Sanctuary is around 10 minutes on foot. Every Wednesday, a local fish & chip van is on the village green. Local beaches include Gunwalloe and Poldhu, both around a 10-minute drive, and Kynance Cove, about 20 minutes away. Gunwalloe has two beaches, one of which is dog-friendly year-round. Falmouth is around 30 minutes by car, and the Helford River is home to a selection of excellent pubs, including the Ferryboat Inn.
