We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room and its original features. Needs some renovation in places and more time spent on housekeeping but it’s great that the owners not trying to modernise it. It is also a great location.

Rooms were lovely, and the bed was super comfortable! Very clean and despite being above a bar and restaurant, it was nice and quiet.

This was a 1 night stay over about was local for my needs, a simple pub room, unfortunately the TV sound didn’t work and as I arrived quite late I didnt want to bother the owner. Had a good nights sleep.

Wonderful place to stay

Loved the hotle and bar. An amazing carving outside of a dragon emerging from a tree..local wye valley beers were great..no food being seeved but a good fish and chip shop nesrby which you could bring back to yhe bar area

Very friendly but not that good.

Friendly and helpful staff who weee manning the bar. No food available and breakfast was Continental only. The shower head had lost its fixing so had to hold the shower head up in the air. There was also no heating. The thermostats didn’t seem to yield the right response. Finally. The mattress was not comfortable and kept me from much needed sleep. The drayman came at 7am so heard all the beer barrels being moved. This is a pub with rooms rather than a hotel. .

Extremely quiet hotel. Clean, fresh, nothing to complain about. They didnt offer breakfast, but we knew that beforehand. Room was large, comfortable and warm. Eady parking.
