Absolutely fabulous for families with children of all ages. The area of Nassfeld has the motto “Nice Surprise” and it really was the nicest surprise to find this lovely hotel in this breathtaking part of the world. We travelled with our teen boys in the summer and they were active all day. From rock climbing (ages 6 and up) to swimming, to the children’s area (arcade style basketball was a big hit!) to mountain biking the local area, this hotel was outstanding. Breakfast had a delicious buffet assortment of fruits, veggies, omelettes, meats, cheeses, yogurts and breads- also excellent coffee options! The rooms were tidy and uncomplicated, with essential amenities. The shower had great, powerful flow (I mention this bc I can’t stand weak, dribbling showers) Apparently the winter had even MORE to offer, but our summer stay did not disappoint us in any way. Staff were efficient, friendly, and helpful. The teens have asked to return in the winter some day to ski, and we will happily return to the Franz Ferdinand!
