The house exceeded our expectations for the short time we stayed, delighting my kids with its cozy nooks and charming setup. Although the main bed was squeaky, it was undeniably comfortable. Initially, the strong scent of dogs hit us upon arrival, which was amplified by the stagnant air and triggered my allergies. Fortunately, circulating the air improved the atmosphere significantly. We did see some dog hair on the couch cushions once we pulled the beds out. One minor note is that the microwave's limited space proved challenging for popping a bag of popcorn without burning it. On a positive note, the lake is beautiful!! Communication with the owners was smooth and efficient.

Quick Getaway

This is the second time we have stayed in this location. The cottage is great and has plenty of fold out couches for your whole family. The proximity to the boat ramp makes the cottage even better. If you are just wanting to stay and the lake isn’t your thing, there are board games and books for your enjoyment. There is also a nice fire pit by the covered patio. Communication with Ru is great. Our door code didn’t work upon arrival and Ru was quick to send us a new one. This is our go to spot when we aren’t camping. Can’t wait to stay again.

This is a great little place to stay! The house was very nicely decorated in a beach theme. The owners have furnished the house with everything you need and added a lot of nice touches for your entertainment and comfort. Communication with the owner was excellent! I highly recommend this property!

I stayed here while working an event at Lucas Oil Speedway, and it was a perfect fit. The one-bedroom cottage was quiet, tucked away, and had everything I needed. The location was super convenient for my work, and the property itself was well-stocked with lots of thoughtful amenities. Everything worked perfectly, and the space was clean and comfortable.Although I had to cut my trip short due to a last-minute event cancellation, I really appreciated the host's excellent communication throughout. There were some storms during my stay, but the outdoor seating areas looked like they’d be great when the weather’s nice—I’d love to come back and enjoy them next time.All around, a great place to stay. I’d definitely book again next time I’m in the area.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was beautiful and close to the boat ramp. Lots of parking so you could plug the boat in. Very clean and decorated so pretty. Lots of dishes and pots and pans. We couldn't have been happier with the location and the cabin. We will stay there again when we go to the lake.. The cabins name is Stowaway and the owners are fantastic. They also has a boat shop if you need anything he definitely would be able to help you .

The Stowaway

This is our 2nd stay at the cottage. They have made changes with an open roof over the patio in the front. Many games, movies, & books to enjoy. A perfect place to getaway for a weekend or week. Very clean!! Nice yard for your dog to roam in!! We highly recommend The Stowaway!!

I was impressed by how much I loved this place. After booking I was expecting a nice place to stay but was wonderfully surprised by just how nice it is. The cabin felt new, it was very clean, taken care of very well and had everything I would ever want. The layout and decor makes it feel a lot larger then it is which is very nice. The views of the lake are breathtaking (especially around sunset) and with just a short walk to the water I was able to enjoy both the lake and privacy. I cannot wait to book again and spend more time her.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at your cottage. It was very clean and comfortable. Everything that we were looking for to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We would stay there again without question. Do yourself a favor and eat at the Crappie Hole right down the road!

Great Getaway

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and it doesn't disappoint. Great location. Not too far from the boat ramp. Hosts are absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to stay again.
