The hotel needs a cleaning. Bath mat was black with mold and when I told the girl when I checked out it didn’t seem to be a big deal. The door to the room locked but was loose, mold above the window and the bathroom door didn’t close. When I told them the juice machine had no containers of liquid they brought out a sign for -Out of Order.
This is my 2nd stay within the past 3 months, in town on business. The lady at the front desk it amazing! She has womderful customer service skills, very helpful, knowledgeable and remembered me and called me by my name. Which was really cool made it personal and asked about the outcome of my last visit really nice to know that i meant that much tp het as a customer that she really did care and remembered me. In all my years 40 to be exact, ive never felt so welcomed and special as I do when i stay at the comfort inn in Conover, NC. Hospitality was awesome provided extras that i needed during my stay, flexible with me needing extra time to check out. Always a smile on her face. She is a great assset to your company and represents it very well. As the first contact when you arrive her smiling face ,warm welcome and personable personality means more to me then I can express. I def recommend this hotel, come stay the night and youll see why!!

Room was old. No chair at the desk. But it was clean
Building fire alarm system was powered off completely when I arrived. Notified front desk the next morning and confirmed that the fire alarm system had been shut off, and they were not performing firewatch as required by law. Staff turned the fire alarm system back on following a visit from the city fire marshal.
Bathroom was very dark, with no overhead lighting and smelled like the area around the toilet had not been cleaned, with a faint urine smell.
My room was facing the parking lot, and the window air conditioning unit pulled cigarette and marijuana smoke odor into the room throughout the night as patrons stepped outside to smoke directly under my room.
When I contacted hotel staff regarding the issues with my stay, they advised they would not issue a refund or provide any compensation since I had stayed three nights, even though there seemed to be more issues each night.
