Check-in was fine.Pictures on VRBO were not very accurate.Live roaches in the kitchen on the counter.Back door needed replaced as there was daylight around 3/4 of it.Smoke detector battery door was open with the battery sticking out in the master bedroom, making it useless.Only frying type device was a griddle that couldn’t get warm enough to make pancakes and roaches dropped out of it as I cleaned it along with two more on the counter.One bed was terrible for my daughter and ended up sleeping on the couch.Mold was all over the master bedroom window and master bathroom windows.After the roaches and discovering the mold we decided to leave early and find another place to stay.Worst of all the owner just said we had a pet at the location which either they are lying or the cleaning crew is lying to them. We had absolutely no pet with us and said we owed another 50!We were simply going to allow well enough alone and leave. However, the final straw is being falsely accused of having a pet, especially since they could have simply checked the security camera to see at no time did any pet get out of our vehicles and enter the residence.I photographed everything I spoke of above as well as the entire home upon walking out.This will not end well for VRBO or the owner if that 50 fee shows up on my credit card. It is ridiculous for being accused of something that did not happen after having to leave early due to less than habitable conditions.

We booked this house for a week and loved it! House is in a great location- we often walked to downtown for dinner- Prohibition Pizza was our favorite- and ice cream- Florida Creamery was so good! The house itself was perfect, plenty of space, a nice fenced backyard. Exceeded our expectations and I would absolutely stay here again!

Relaxing time, convenient little town

The listing was exactly as depicted. Host was communicative. Furnishings were comfortable. The only constructive criticism I would like to offer is that (1) we were 3 adult women, and only provided 3 towels and washcloths for 3 nights. We had to wash the towels to be able to continue using them. (2) there were only 3 total garbage bags for the small trash can in the kitchen. We cooked each day and filled them up daily. We had to buy more. (3) there was a dish sponge and dawn dishwashing detergent, but the DW detergent was empty and we bought more. (4) there were no kitchen towels so we couldn’t wash/dry the dishes that we couldn’t put into the dishwasher. We bought some Clorox wipes to wipe the table and counters. (5) as women traveling alone, we would have liked to have the front living room windows coverable. The little lace curtains are cute, but offer zero privacy from the front of the house where the road is. The property was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. We would definitely stay again.

Great house

Had a wonderful stay at this house for a gymnastics state meet in Gainesville. Price was great, house was spotless and had everything we needed. Loved that pets are allowed even though some of our party couldn't come and the dog stayed home with them, we loved having the option initially. Communication was easy and immediate. Would definitely stay here again.

Springs vacation

We enjoyed the springs, nature walk, cedar key, downtown high springs ice cream. The home was clean and had everything we needed. Very comfortable. The outdoor deck was wonderful to sit in am with coffee and evenings to relax. We would stay again. Our host was also very kind and responded quickly.
