From the moment you walk in, the Beach Lodge feels more like your friend's beautifully designed home than a rental. The open floor plan is perfect for groups, and the location in Highlands is perfect too, within walking distance to beaches, waterfront restaurants, and shops.  The house is immaculate and has everything you could possibly need - they offer hotel-like amenities and I especially loved how stocked the kitchen was! Cherisse's welcome guide is a game-changer too, with spot-on local recommendations that basically plan your trip for you. This was my second visit and I took the Seastreak Ferry over from Manhattan this time. It’s conveniently down the street and only takes 1 hr (plus it's dog friendly). Cherisse is the kind of host who has genuinely thought of everything, I highly recommend staying here!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. It is close to the beach, a lovely local coffee shop and many great restaurants. The owners provide everything you need for a great beach vacation, even bicycles! House is also close to the ferry for a trip to NY. Communication is great and everything is as described. We can't wait to come back!

Amazing Retreat

Just what my partner and I were looking for in a relaxing beach getaway. Can’t speak highly enough of the hosts. The welcome guide was so helpful and their recommendations were perfect. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here! The house is fully equipped - more than enough to prepare a gourmet meal! Washer and dryer were also very handy to have. We didn’t lack for anything, and the home was immaculate! Close by is a nice coffee shop and other conveniences. What a pleasant visit we had and we plan on returning again!

Fishing getaway

This house was perfect for our group of friends to stay while we enjoyed some Raritan Bay fishing. The driveway was long enough to park boat trailer and truck as well as another vehicle. The house has everything and is really cool. The town is great and the Proving Grounds is a nice place to grab dinner and drinks with live music.

High on the Highlands Beach House

Definitely a 5 star property, location and host, also a 5 paw rating from our pup. Everything you could want in a vacation rental to unwind from the daily grind. Need beach chairs and accessories, bikes, private patio even a record player? Look no further, it's all included at the beach house. We definitely recommend a stay at this rental and will certainly be returning.
