I hadn't been to this hotel since 2012. Glad to see that they have kept up their standards. Happy to see the upgrades. Sorry i can't speak on breakfast the bed was to comfortable to get up and enjoy that feature. Will definitely be returing.

A good hotel for a three-star hotel. I liked almost everything except the bathroom door and the bed. There's no lock on the bathroom door. The bed feels unstable.

Staff was great with friendly smiles as we walked it but the room I have always rented a suite from every hotel I stayed at I feel for a 3 star hotel it's only 30-40 more for more room comfort and some have had jetted tubs. I wished I could afford a presidential one but the suite at Palmera was the best I've EVER stayed in even tho only slept in the bed and watched TV downstairs so much room and I checked the dishes to see if they were clean which they looked new if I were to have any complaints it would be both doors to the bathrooms didn't have locks the one in loft didnt close all the way due to the handle sliding thing was stuck inside but still no lock and the door downstairs only slid open and shut. The eggs at breakfast to my opinion wasn't done or just was to cold for my wife and I. It was def worth it tho bc it's like a mini 1br apartment

The front desk and staff were very courteous. The room was excellent, a great size, and very clean. The only issue is the bathroom had a sliding barn door style with no lock and it would stay open a crack so one could see out or in while you're "sitting down" in there. The front desk did take note of it. We had to leave before breakfast so I cannot comment on that. There are dining options nearby for meals, and in walking distance if you like. The pool looked good, though we did not use it during our overnight stay. I did use the fitness room. It could use work. The weight machine had a broken piece. They made it usable but not fully functional. And the tread mill would not start up at all. The area and hotel looked great and it was a pleasure overall to stay there. We were only there for one night but would definitely stay longer if going for a vacation to Hilton Head.
