Check in and check out were the easiest I have ever experienced. We stayed in a Yurt and it was clean, spacious and well maintained. If you want to camp but not camp then give it a try.

My boyfriend and I have stayed in the yurts a few times and we love it. It’s quiet, right on the lake. The cell reception is minimal (which is a nice break for the both of us) we absolutely love it here. It’s a short drive to penn yan for coffee or shopping or ice cream. Neither of us are drinkers but if you like wine, there are also several wineries nearby. Overall this is a great little getaway that we will keep coming back to.

This property is very well managed and has great attention to detail from the food to the rooms and the grounds. The location is outstanding with great views a firepit, seating on the dock at the lake, etc. Will stay again 😊

Only real issue in the room was the sink wouldn’t drain, mentioned it at checkout. We were on the bottom floor and you do hear all the walking from above. Beds are very soft. Restaurant was very disappointing, had a very limited menu-and most options were red meat or fried food.

Lakeside

Plum Point Lodge is located right on Seneca Lake and offers a very nice dock/deck with lounge chairs to enjoy the water. The swimming pool also looked very nice. The room was small but had everything that I needed except I never got the internet to connect. The Bald Eagle flying over my head when I was walking out on the dock was a highlight.

Stayed at the main logde upstairs. Very nice, clean, spacious suite. Restaurant on the 1st floor closed at 9pm, so no noise after that. Lakefront, Outdoor seating and access to dock makes this property one of a few on the lake.
