Here you will stay in a modern cabin built in 2020 with a view of Gaustatoppen from the living room. Only a two-hour drive from Oslo, this is the perfect getaway. Relax in the jacuzzi while looking out over the valley, or warm up in the sauna after a day in nature.
The interior combines new furniture with heirlooms and personal gifts. Two separate living rooms, each with its own TV, provide space for both children and adults. The open kitchen has a dishwasher and everything you need to cook good food. The sofa corner by the fireplace invites you to relax and enjoy the mountain panorama.
Outdoors, a jacuzzi and gas grill await for cozy evenings. You can take short walks on gravel roads right outside the cabin, or drive 15 minutes to Flugonfjell Ski Center for cross-country skiing and longer hikes. The road goes right up to the cabin wall.
Tuddal is considered Telemark's best corner, with the sunny side of Gaustatoppen just a 40-minute drive away. Take the Gaustabanen railway up the mountain or hike to the top on your own. Tuddal Høyfjellshotell, dating from 1898, is 20 minutes away and serves traditional Norwegian food. Take a walk around Kjerringløypa.
