Beautiful thatched cottage on the German-Danish border near Sylt

Enjoy the tranquility of nature and the view of the idyllic Danish marsh landscape: directly behind the dikes of the North Sea coast is located on a 6000 sqm of land and thatched cottage lovingly furnished 'Gadenböl'.

The ground floor has a large kitchen, a dining room, a cozy living room with wood burning stove incl. Access to the garden, a bedroom with double bed, large bathroom with shower and jacuzzi, and a laundry room with washer, dryer and a small freezer. On the upper floor there are two further bedrooms each with a double bed, and a bathroom with shower. Outside there are 2 terraces with seating and a beach chair, and a garden with a pond.

Numerous excursions are easily accessible from here. Among other things, the island of Romo is only 40 minutes drive away, from where you can take a day trip to Sylt or in good weather can insert a wonderful and relaxing day at the beach. The well-known Noldemuseum just behind the German border is a popular destination especially on bike rides. And a stroll through the old town of Tønder, with its numerous small shops, museums and entertainment venues, is worth over again. A globally unique sight this renowned natural wonder 'Black Sun': In spring and autumn, thousands of starlings find a huge swarm together and darken in their search for food, the sun.

Whether culture or nature - the house Gadenböl and the region of Tønder offer many opportunities for recreation.

Dream vacation

This property would rank at the top of all vacation rentals we have ever had (and we have been in many all over the world). The house is beautiful and exactly as advertised, plus some. Tolles Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

Wir hatten einen schönen entspannten Urlaub. Im Haus fehlt es an nichts, sogar die Tischtennisplatte haben wir aufgestellt. Es gibt einen wirklich großen Garten mit schönen Blumen. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass man ohne Auto nicht viel unternehmen kann, da das Haus schon recht weit vom Dorf weg ist. Aber in der Beschreibung war das erwähnt. Von daher wussten wir das vorher. Hojer hat einen Metzger, einen Bäcker und einen Supermarkt und ist ein echt wunderschönes Örtchen. Wir waren fast jeden Tag auf Rømø. Toller Strand, tolle Wellen. Gerade mit Hund wirklich sehr schön.Kontakt zum Vermieter war super. Das Haus kann ich wirklich weiter empfehlen.

Sehr erholsamer Urlaub für die ganze Familie

Die zehn Tage auf dem Anwesen haben wir als sechsköpfige Familie sehr genossen. Sehr ruhig gelegen, aber mit wunderschönen kleinen Orten und dem Watt in der Nähe! Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist klasse: Zum Kochen sind alle Werkzeuge vorhanden und Geschirr gibt es in ausreichendem Umfang in verschiedenen Varianten. Besonders schön ist es im Strandkorb zu sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Auch für unseren Hund war genügend Auslauf vorhanden. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Urlaub, den ich wärmstens empfehlen kann!

sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll

Wir hatten als Familie eine sehr schöne Woche. Auch das dänische Regenwetter am Anfang ist in diesem schönen Haus kein Problem. Innen ist alles schön hell und sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Eine gelungene Mischung aus alt und neu. Der Charme des alten Hauses wurde bei der Renovierung erhalten. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet und es gibt mehr als genug Geschirr und Gläser. Uns war zwar vorher nicht klar, dass das Haus recht nah an der Strasse liegt, aber das hat nicht gestört, da die Straße recht wenig befahren wird und unsere Kinder alt genug sind. Sauna, Grill und Strandkorb kamen bei der ganzen Familie gut an.Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, dass wir eine Woche hier Urlaub machen konnten und kommen gern wieder.

Entspannung pur

Dieses sehr gepflegte Haus ist in vielerlei Hinsicht außergewöhnlich: Ausstattung, Ambiente, Lage… Wer Entspannung in unendlicher Ruhe sucht und Abgeschiedenheit nicht scheut, wird sich hier ausgesprochen wohl fühlen. Wir, bis zu 4 Erw. und ein kleiner Hund, haben 1 Woche in dem liebevoll gestalteten Objekt verbracht und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Hele mooie en rustige omgeving

Huis volledig en een prachtige tuin en omgeving. De omgeving was voor ons met een jong gezin op een gegeven moment wel afgelegen en rustig maar we hebben het naar ons zin gehad met uitstapjes naar Romo en Ribe Viking park.

Wir haben uns auf ein paar Tage Auszeit gefreut und konnten diese in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbringen. Die Aufteilung und die liebevolle Einrichtung hat für Zeit mit der Familie eingeladen. Wir haben Ausflüge nach Tøndern, Høyer und Rømø gemacht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit den Eigentümern hat super geklappt. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Ein Traum

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Das Haus ist wunderschön mit vielen liebevollen Details. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Die einsame Lage mit 4 Kühen links und ein paar Pferden rechts (kein Geruch davon zu merken!) hat uns gut getan. Bei einem Spaziergang hinter dem Haus ist ein Seeadler vorbei geflogen. Für Vogelverrückte ist diese Gegend sowieso kaum zu toppen. Ein Ausflug an den nördlichsten Festlandpunkt Deutschlands samt Vogel-Beobachtungshütte lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Besuche auf den dänischen Inseln mit Wattwanderung und Robbensafari sind von der Entfernung gut machbar. Die Vermieterin ist unheimlich nett und antwortete immer kurzfristig auf alle Anfragen. Vielen lieben Dank für alles!
