Great location, centrally located

Pros: Location, friendly staff, very nice buffet breakfast
Cons: Rooms could be updated a little.
Location: We took day tours to the CuChi Tunnels which was a highlight of our trip. We also visited the War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace + heaps more!
We had a fantastic time, especially as it was in the lead up to the Lunar New Year. Heaps going on around town due to the New Year.

Historic hotel with lovely terrace, great location

A lovely and comfortable stay in this established hotel. Be sure to enjoy breakfast in their "garden" terrace. Perfect location on Dong Khoi, the "Paris end of town". Staff were friendly although not as much as I've experienced in other hotels throughout Vietnam. Note that as with so many places in Vietnam, earplugs will serve you well! Also, the hotel seems to hold a lot of functions - they did so every night during my stay - which was a little noisy late at night. Works are underway in restoring / renovating rooms, but is not experienced any inconvenience / noise as a result of this. WiFi access was inconsistent in my room.

Heritage hotel at the centre of Saigon, close to e

Nice hotel, close to every thing. Breakfast area is terrific. Room is spacious,clean but it needs to be refurbished.

2 Nights with kids!

Pros: Staff is very good and friendly!
Cons: The fare is to expensive for what you get.
Location: Opera House right next door, market is around 5-6 blocks from hotel, lost of restaurants and shops around.
This hotel has a perfect location for the tourist attraction around the district 1 in Saigon. The rooms are big and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and very helpful when requested. The architecture is very nice. Old fresh style hotel. Probably not kids friendly. It is quite expensive for what you actualy get. You are basically paying for the location.

Great location next to the Opera House.

Pros: The friendly and helpful staff.
We had three days in a stop over from Paris. The experience was interesting and the hotel provided a sanctuary from the heat in September.
